How long does an outdoor kitchen take to build?+
Typically 6–12 weeks depending on complexity. Appliance lead times, masonry work, and utility rough-in (gas, water, electrical) drive the schedule. We coordinate all trades and provide a detailed timeline during design.
What appliances can withstand Texas weather?+
We specify outdoor-rated appliances only — marine-grade stainless steel (316L), sealed burner systems, and weatherproof electronics. Brands we work with include Lynx, Hestan, Twin Eagles, Alfresco, and Kalamazoo. These are built for full weather exposure, not occasional use under a cover.
Do I need a roof over my outdoor kitchen?+
A roof extends appliance life and makes the kitchen usable in rain — we recommend it. But quality outdoor appliances are designed for full weather exposure. If a roof isn't in the plan, we spec accordingly with appliance covers and corrosion-resistant materials throughout.
